I previously owned an RD-700 and RD-700SX and have great experiences with both. The 300GX has however been a big disappointment. The volume output is quite low requiring that I max out the volume level on my amp. The volume from the headphone jack is barely audible. I took the keyboard to a Roland authoized service center and the volume levels were checked and was told that this is normal for the 300GX. Calls to Roland to discuss the issue are not returned.
