The equally rare companion to this pin is also for sale here. They both appeared in a 1961 advertisement for Jomaz and Mazer Brother costume jewelry. This one, like its counterpart, is of green carved glass and gold- tone metal. A single faux pearl decorates one side while a frond looks as if it is protecting the Deity. Small rhinestones are used as accents. The hallmark appears on the reverse.
