The launch controller from Quest is unique, and I think if far superior to the one from Estes. First, it is a pistol-grip design. That makes it easy to hold. Second, it uses a single 9 volt battery. That is much cheaper than the 4 AA size batteries that the Estes launch controller uses. And finally, it has two ways to let you know that you are ready for launch.
