Other brands are poorly designed. They do not look real and the size is way off. This set far exceeds the competition. I considered this set to be overpriced, but you get what you pay for. Besides, they can always be resold on an online auction site when your child outgrows this phase. This stuff sells like hotcakes at auction.

We've owned this set for about two weeks and nothing has been broken. Our girls are 2 and 4 and the love to go shopping with the basket. The bacon is pretty realistic (so much so that my 2 year old keeps trying to eat it). The pancake is the only thing that looks kinda odd. Overall a great value for the price. Would definitely buy again.
