If you have a 46-50" LCD or plasma TV, this is a great stand (it is approximately 50" wide). It is easy to put together, and is very well built, especially for the price. The tubular frame is powdercoated very nicely and is not too shiny (hence the "matte" finish in the name). The tempered glass shelves are extremely heavy and strong, but are rounded which is nice for looks and if you have young kids (no sharp edges or corners). I put my 46" Sony XBR2 LCD on this stand and it looks like the stand...
