Finding a balance between the two means a lot of work for the winemaker, but the Potter’s Hill shows why it’s worth the pay-off. Medium-bodied, it offers some fruity notes of pear and fig alongside touches of honey, toast and almond. It’s refreshing, but not lightweight when it comes to flavor and body.

Altoona Hills puts out a consistently excellent product. The Chardonnay in its uncooked state has a full spectrum of flavors for the discerning palate. Not too oaky. A rich wine with a full bodied taste and hints of berries. Let the wine breathe until bubbles form inside the glass for the most exquisite experience. I have tasted this vinyard's chardonnay for many years and have never been disappointed.
