Within one week of assembling this bed, the slats and the strips of wood that are supposed to hold up the slats collapsed. By collapsed I mean the wood just snapped in two. The manufacturer claims that the bed is supposed to support up to 400 lbs. My son weighs 240 lb. so I thought it would be OK.
