Our favorite Sonoma Sub-appellation is the Russian River area in Sonoma, and a short drive from where I'm sitting. We selected family owned wineries to fill this gift box with producers that will soon be getting the attention they deserve. Davis Bynum is the pioneer of Pinot in the area, making incredible wines since the early 70's, while Papapieto and Mirimar are the stars of the future. If the person your buying for is a Pinot drinker, this collection will rock their boat in a big way.
