PetSafe Programmable Stubborn Dog Receiver PRF-275 If your dog is over 30 pounds and is stubborn or hard to train you may need the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Receiver. A small percentage of dogs require this receiver. We have found that the following breeds need the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Receiver more than other breeds: Labs, German Shepherds, Chows, Huskies, Akitas. The Pet Safe Stubborn Dog Receiver (Model: PRF-275) is for the occasional hard-to-train dog. A small percentage of dogs are not affected by our regular receivers. The PetSafe Stubborn Dog receiver is designed with these dogs in mind. The PetSafe PRF-275 comes complete with collar, short probes for short hair dogs and long probes for long hair dogs. This system comes with Transmitter and Programmable Vibrating Stubborn Dog Receiver. This receiver is excellent for that stubborn, big or hard to train dog. If your pet weighs over 30 pounds and is very stubborn this is the one for you. This may be needed on stubborn tough breeds such as Akita, Chow, Huskie, and occasionally, Labs and German Shepherds. The system can be expanded to 20 acres by adding additional wire and flags. It uses the patented ASICS Chip, the only microprocessor in the industry built specifically for pet fences by PetSafe&. It has 3,000 filters to eliminate any possibility of interference from outside sources. The transmitter has a good loop indicator light, a power-on indicator light, and an audio wire break alarm. This system includes a boundary kit that contains 500 feet of 20 gauge Standard wire and 50 boundary flags (enough to enclose 1/3 acre). We recommend this system for dogs that are hard to train.
