I bought my Philips 42" plasma with the "Ambilight" feature two years ago, and have ordered (and returned) two other mounts that I was told would work for my TV. The wall plate on this one is finally wide enough to accommodate the 32" spread between the holes in the back of the set. Other than the lack of M8 washers that were referred to in the installation instructions, this thing is perfect. . . and it's strong enough that the house will come down before my TV will.
