One of the reasons I bought this mount was because it is advertised as being capable of hanging on one stud...oddly enough, in the products installation directions, there are no instructions on how to do so. Only 2 stud and 3 stud. So that made me nervous - almost like it was a sales pitch or false advertising. Who knows these days. But lucky for them I found a way to 2 stud mount it and it works fine. Up in an hour or so. Easy tilting from a hang tightened screw on the outside of each mounting...
