I had a very different application and was concerned about achieving a viewing position with in a corner of the room and yet provide a support for the 46" LCD. The mount worked as perfect as I imagined. This mount will actually support the weight as described however I over sized it to be sure. Flange at wall is huge but is hidden by the screen when placed into the corner. Hardware that was provided was more than sufficient and options are pretty much endless with a little pre though into the hanging...
