This special cup set is made using a unique crystal glazing method first discovered during the Song dynasty (960-1279 AD), which creates one-of-a-kind designs on the surface of the porcelain. Rare minerals added to the surface are fired at 2,300 degrees Celsius, then stopped at 2,000 degrees Celsius for two to four hours when the glaze crystallizes. This creates a vibrant, shimmering mother-of-pearl apparance and unique final design. Set includes four 4.3oz tea cups. Top rack dishwasher safe.
