The XXS fits my 3 year old perfectly. Granted there is a bit of extra in the length in the arms and legs but I assume this is intentional since after at age 3 children start to grow faster in height than in width - plus an exact fit in the legs would prove to be to restrictive for a child who flexes in every which way.
