Handmade Hansel has a wax over papier mache face that is hand-painted with expressive blue eyes and rosy cheeks. There are minor scuffs and a snag on his right cheek. There is no discoloration of the wax. His strawberry blond hair is made of nubbed yarn. Hansel has a cloth body with handsome handmade clothing - leather vest over cotton shirt, velour lederhosen, knitted socks and felt tie boots. Every inch of this wax 14" doll from the late '60's, early '70's, is well made and good looking.
