With little overtones, this ride is darker in nature with good stick definition, and a warm wash underneath. The ping has a nice "cushion" to ride over.

I was first of all amazed at how heavy it was, even though its advertised as heavy, you aren't really prepared for how thick and heavy it is. I hit it once in the sweet...

A heavy version of the Dry Ride, higher pitched and stronger overall. The bell sound is pronounced while still remaining close to the overall cymbal sound.

Paiste New Signature Dark Energy Mark I Dry Ride
"New Signature Class": The elitist concept for this class of cymbals allows Paiste to use ultimate artistic freedom in the creation of cymbal sound. It calls for absolute exclusivity, total individuality, full concentration on the individual cymbal's characteristics and complete freedom from the sonic constraints of a series personality.
