A medium to strong full-bodied smoke that builds quickly into a powerhouse of dark chocolate, anise and that unmistakeable maduro spicy edge. I smoked this slowly at a party and enjoyed it. I took a break halfway through, second half became slightly bitter. Construction was above average, draw was slightly light, room odor was unmistakebley maduro. I would recomend these to someone who likes a strong cigar with full flavor.

One day, Raul Fernandez, a friend who worked at the Cuban refugee office asked if I had any carpentry skills. I said I did. He gave me a gift - a small hammer - which he asked me to put to good use. The hammer made me feel I had the neccesary tool to become self-sufficient and not depend on a government hand-out. During the days, I worked as a gardener. At nights, I did carpentry with the hammer.

Orlando Padron said it best when asked why he doesnt increase production. He said, It would affect the quality and thats not worth it. Making fine cigars takes time. This is a well made, complex cigar with a power house of deep rich flavors. Padron cigars are extremely smooth and very rich in flavor and taste. One of the finest cigars made.
