The M9 is several years old and has been made by whoever could get a Government contract for it. The 7-1/8" blade of 420M measures 0.235" thick, almost a 1/4 inch. The OKC-3S is a bayonet developed by the US Marine Corps as its service bayonet for the M16 rifle. It is large, thick and aggressive. It is manufactured solely by the Ontario Knife Company, and this Marine bayonet is identical to the military issue. The scabbard and grip are colored to match the Corps' coyote tan gear, usable for arid and temperate environments. The scabbard is also compatible with the MOLLE/PALs modular attachment system.
