This 5.25" scissors are a nicely weighted, larger pair of scissors for pre-cutting your fabric pieces without using your delicate embroidery scissors. Blades measure nearly 3" from tip to base, and these scissors have a lovely decorative handle with generous finger holes that measure approximately 1.25" in height.
