If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". I routinely played both of the Bridgestone 330 balls (Soft and Distance). They are a good overall ball but had some durability and cost issues for me. I figured if I am paying ProV1 price why not play a ProV. So in July I switched to the 2009 pro V1s in search of more spin. The 2009 Pro V1’s definitely had spin and with the new and improved cover they seemed to be more durable then before. My only real issue was distance and the fact they just ballooned on me. My fade could become a slice very easily...
