This XW Insert is located directly behind the face to absorb vibration from impact, reducing amajority of the shock and harsh feel associated with irons that use hard plugs or screws used to lower the center of gravity. Discretionary weight was moved into the weight plugs from the face, creating a high C.O.R. to promote faster ball speed and more power.
