Head Coach Joe Gibbs led Washington Redskins to three Super Bowls wins in 11 years and he did it with three different quarterbacks. A players' strike shortened the NFL season to 9 games in 1982 leaving teams scrambling to reach the playoffs. Most clubs were rusty after the layoff, but Gibbs kept Redskins focused.
