Jan Barboglio designs and creates decorative and sculptural iron accessories inspired by historic Mexico . Each piece is hand worked. It is individually cast or wrought, hammered, sanded and hand finished. Slight irregularities, imperfections, and variations of shading and texture are characteristic of the material and the Old World finishing process that adds to its distinct beauty. Each piece is artistically embossed with her signature stamp, slightly different, and equally unique.

These antique silver napkin rings were cylindrical and quite wide +1 1/2 inches. About 1910 napkin rings became narrower, about an inch in width, and looked even smaller because they were nipped in at the middle. Decoration was sometimes applied. A small, inch-wide napkin ring of plated silver made around 1910, for example, was encircled with the stems, leaves, and buds of the large, open poppy that ornamented it.
