Having gotten fed up with the high prices & poor quality of the big brand razors, I set out to find a good quality, old-style safety razor. I found everything I was looking for & more in the Merkur "Futur" (& this web site). I'm still not convinced that I need the adjustable blade, but I wouldn't send it back for a change either. I can't compare this razor to the other Merkurs, but it's far better than any other razor that I've used. That, & I've done some quick "cocktail napkin" math to see how...
