I was easily seduced by the 50% off tag backcountry slapped on this thing last may and now that fall temps are here my verdict is in. One of my biggest points of contention with the Torrid is the lack of a draw cord at the waist. This oversight combined with the extremely loose fit (size Large) of the jacket makes for a poor insulator. For reference I am 6' 3" and 185lbs with a 6' 1" ape index.
