My budget is tight, so I was looking for a decent light fixture that would replace some outdated lighting in the bedrooms of a rental home. The Maxim, 2-light, flushmount fit the bill. It had a marbled glass globe instead of plastic (like others in this price range), it had the nickel-tone base, and it had 2 lights in order to prevent from having a black spot in the globe when you looked at the light fixture while illuminated (happens when you get a light fixture with only one light).

I bought three of these for my kid's bedrooms. They were easy to install and made a huge improvement in how the rooms look. They are a great deal for the price. I liked not having to pay for shipping.

The fixtures are OK.I would have preferred an American made but I think that they are non-existant anymore.

I received the Bay Shore Post Mount light, and tried to mount it on my 3" post...the light base was much to big for the pole...I called Lighting Universe and they told me that was normal...just center up the screws and it will be fine...Unreal, I asked if I could return it and they hit me with a 25% restocking fee and shipping for something that's the manufacturing companys problem..I paid over $200.00 for this light and I would think that it would fit a little better...I'm now getting a machinist...
