Because of this, the tip of the whisk prongs of Japanese whisks are known to last longer. The bamboo used in Japanese whisks...

Storing your matcha whisk in the plastic container before it has completely dried out can lead to the whisk becoming moldy. We recommend that you rinse the whisk, and allow it to dry out thoroughly on a whisk keeper to help retain its shape. Once it has completely dried out remove it from the whisk keeper and store it away in a dust free environment. If you do decide to keep it in the plastic container, make sure it has thoroughly dried out, and be very careful not to break the prongs upon closing...

I've had many different types of tea from O-cha, and they were all stellar! I also ordered a tokoname kyuusu which work exceptionally well for brewing Japanese green tea. if you're looking for quality green tea, look no further! o-cha has some of the best teas I've ever tried, much better than anything you could find in the supermarket or Asian markets. I would definitely recommend all o-cha's teas, especially my personal favorite the Yutaka Midori!
