During the 1930's, there was a tea garden in Darjeeling owned by Mr. Bagdon who lived in London but visited the tea garden regularly. He had two daughters. The younger daughter was named Margaret. When she saw the tea garden, she fell in love with it, hoping one day she would have an opportunity to return. Sadly, she fell ill on board ship during the return trip to England and died soon after. Every year, only the very top lots of Margaret's Hope Estate tea are graded as Muscatel. This lot was one of this year's best. Very fine quality reddish black leaves with a rich sweet/spicy aroma. These leaves produce an intensely flavourful tea liquor with prominent sweet muscatel notes, a lively mouth feel and a long finish. This tea is very highly recommended! - 100g Package
