Love-in-a-Mist is a hardy annual with very fine, threadlike foliage and charming 1.5-inch flowers at the end of each branch. An excellent cut flower it also forms interesting horned seed capsules, which are beautiful in dried arrangements. Comes into bloom very quickly. Make successive sowings to ensure a continuous supply. Where winters are mild it can be sown in the fall for very early spring bloom the following year. Grows to 1.5-feet tall.

An intense blue Love-in-the-Mist type of Nigella. Intricate pastel blue flowers have wiry green stamens with wispy, fernlike foliage. Blossoms are followed by round, burgundy-striped seed pods that work wonderfully in arrangements. Makes an attractive plant all season. Tends to have sprawling growth habit.
