Our 17 oz fabric has also gone through a really intensive and all-natural finishing process that has boiled and pressed out most of the shorter fibers and contaminants (such as the woody hurd particles). This finishing also brings a significant amount of shrinkage to the fabric, reducing the shrinkage that the products made from it experience when they are washed later by the customer.
