My family loves the ice cream maker. It is simple to use and easy to clean. I have not made ice cream using a custard so if all of the ice cream is not eaten the first day, it gets really hard and is not as creamy the next day. That is not a problem we will encounter often. My grand-daughter (11 yrs old) comes over a couple of times a week to make the ice-cream and we eat it that evening. She has no problem doing it herself. Cookies and cream is her favorite.
