I've just started a collection of these little wooden figurines for my one year old son. They are all so well made and they seem to be colored by stains rather than paint, so there is no chipping when he bangs them or chews on them. This kangaroo is super cute, but my only complaint is the Joey in the pouch looks a little odd head-on as this is a two dimensional figure and his face is a little spread out. Regardless, these are beautiful little figurines!
