Thomas Coopers Irish Stout is an authentic recipe containing a blend of malted barley, roasted barley, flaked barley and hops. The pour will show a turbulent, cascading tan foaming action. Irish Stout - Draught
Stout is generally darker, heavier, and usually has a higher alcohol content than porter. Draught Guinness is considered "real" Guinness by most fans, ours is lighter in body than our Irish Dry Stout with a alcohol level approximate to that of commercial Guinness. It is lighter than most microbrewery interpretations of the stout style. Dry stout is the beer of choice in Ireland. Very black in color with high bitterness and no hop aroma or flavor.

Mountmellick Famous Irish Stout
Canned beer kits include hopped malt extract and dry yeast. They usually require the addition of approximately two pounds of dried malt extract (or sugar) to make a full batch. We recommend using the lightest colored dry malt extract (such as Munton's Extra Light or Briess Pilsen) for the best results. If desired, finishing and dry hops can also be added.
