As you can see from the pictures above, the Maryland boot has a more tapered shaft than all of our other super wide calf boots and it is more fitted from the ankle through the top of the shaft . If your calf is not this shape and it is fuller from the ankle throughout the length of your leg, then the lower portion may not fit you and you might want to consider purchasing another style that has a larger lower shaft and a shape more like your own calf.
