I love the look, finish and performance of the lamp. I was disappointed that for the price it has no dimmer on the post of the lamp. It came with a separate dimmer that the lamp plugs into, so the dimmer is located on the floor beside the lamp, which is not very convenient for our furniture layout. The cord for the lamp is also extremely short. Without the dimmer and it's additional length of cord, I would not be able to plug the lamp in without an extension cord.
