I really like these I would love to see more of the Superman Diamond shaped plugs but these are awesome , I believe when ordering though I would order a size up and the 00 seems a bit smaller that all my other 00 plugs and tunnels. Regardless they look wikes and feel fantastic and the Person I bought them for was exstatic over them ! great item and thanks very much Funky Town Mall !!

The two of these I got are really neat! Of course, the shell doesn't match- but that's part of the fun with natural materials :) I wear a lot of Haida jewelry with Abalone inlay, and these were the perfect pieces to go with it all. The horn is pretty smooth, and my wimpy ears can tackle the flares with no trouble at all. The inlays are just like I asked for, with blue and purple- and on the other side, there are second abalone inlays with a golden hue. They totally are like two pairs of plugs...

This design features a triangular shaped spiral with a serpentine tail twist at the end. These are high quality items, intricately carved and finished. The Horn Spout and Plug is a device that is installed in the pouring end of a powder horn. The spout has a generous pouring hole (3/8” in diameter) for those hurried reloads needed for timed events, Seneca Runs, hunting, etc. The plug for this spout has an o-ring that creates a friction fit in the spout, holding it securely in place and waterproofing the spout. A lanyard can be tied to the groove provided in the plug to prevent its loss. Both parts are made of brass.
