Your tour begins at the base of the Hoover Dam. As you leisurely travel down the river watching for waterfalls, hot springs and wonderful rock formations, you will receive a terrific narration on the history of the dam and the Colorado River. You will make stops along the way for lunch and time for swimming. You are on the water for about 3 hours.

The only place you will get a picture from the bottom of Hoover Dam is when you get ready to board the Black Canyon Raft as your guide prepares to launch on your float of the Colorado River at the base of Hoover Dam for your 11 mile trip. Children ages 18 months-12 years of age are eligible for Child Rate. Infants aged under 18 months are free of charge. Clothing - The temperatures in the canyon are very different, the lower you go into the canyon, the hotter it gets. Shorts, a light shirt and a windbreaker are recommended for the warmer months.
