After looking for a Cherry Buffet with Hutch I was excited to find this one. Price was great and getting it to my home was a breeze. After unpacking the buffet to see if everything was in order, my husband realized we had 2 of the same pieces for the base. Well here we are with all of these pieces in the floor and I knew I couldn't wait another 5 days to get the correct part, my husband being the handy man that he is, had to drill the hole needed to make the part work. Assembling the unit alone took a little over 3 hours. There were two times during the process where it REALLY would help to have a second person. If two people assemble it could probably be done in 2 - 2.5 hours. It also helps to have a bigger area to assemble it,(at least 10'x10') as there are quite a few pieces. The construction was surprisingly decent and the pre-drilled holes were all aligned properly. It is mostly all wood construction and seems rather durable for an assemble-it-yourself product...
