Looking out from Zabriskie Point, you are surrounded by Death Valley's badlands. Badlands are forbidding, almost unearthly, desert landscapes. Look beneath the dark shadows of the Black Mountains and encounter a great, extraordinarily flat expanse of shimmering white known as Bad Water. Bad Water is the lowest spot in the Western...

Having been to the Grand Canyon before, I was not expecting to see anything different. How wrong was I? This was my first visit to the West Rim, and it was beyond my expectations. The cultural aspect, with the Native Americans was fabulous. Loved the Skywalk, loved the whole tour, thanks.

Tours operate rain or shine. Las Vegas being located in the Mohave Desert only averages 4-5 inches of rain per year. The Southwest has a lot of micro climates so most rainfall is short lived. The rainfall offers a chance for rainbows and waterfalls providing spectacular photo opportunities. If the weather conditions are severe enough that the trip must be cancelled, you will be offered the chance to switch your tour, reschedule, or receive a refund.

Brilliant experience, so glad we flew instead of going by bus - the flight in the nine seater plane was fantastic! We went to the ranch for our lunch, this was a novel and amusing experience, it added to the fun. The staff there were amazing. The pilot for the plane was great too, he didn't hurry us and was willing to wait around until we were ready. Highly recommend this trip, you won't regret it.
