This French Art Retro period (1938-1946) fur clip/brooch is of superior craftsmanship and design. It is fashioned from platinum and boasts 2.95 carats total weigh of rubies, 1.88 ct tw of sapphires, and 2 ct tw of diamonds. There are 2 round faceted cut sapphires, one 1.23 ct and the smaller is .65 ct and average VS in clarity with good medium blue color. These vintage Reja figural fur clips are in good vintage condition with the gold wash mostly gone from the front except around the toes. The clips are nice and tight and they still look cool!

These are great old Coro rhodium plated rhinestone fur clips. They might have been part of duette at one time. The rhinestones have been replaced on these with Swarovski rhinestones. They measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" and are in excellent condition.

Description: Fur clip, signed 'Nettie Rosenstein' on the back. A fanciful floral motif with green art glass oval stones and trios of fuchsia rhinestones representing flowers on gold tone branches in a pinwheel arrangement around a blue glass cab surrounded by clear rhinestones. The pinwheel is framed by a circle of trios of leaves enameled in off-white and layered over spikey leaves set with clear rhinestones. I'm guessing this pot metal fur clip is supposed to be a bald eagle in flight. The enameling, which shows some wear, is done in brown and cream. His neck is set with topaz rhinestones.

This great vintage brooch and fur clip is circa 1940s. There is no makers stamp on this piece. The "gems" are clear painted back rhinestones and the mounting is open backed behind them. They are all nice and bright with no yellowing or "dead" stones. The brooch measures 2 1/2 X 1 3/4 inches and works perfectly.
