I've used this headlamp for winter backpacking in West Virginia. The fact that it has 3 settings (bright, low, flashing) is awesome. The bright setting is bright enough for finding areas in the dark, the low is great for reading in the tent and the flashing for helping someone with a cheaper light to find the camp from their cathole. I've had it now for 6 years and even bought another for regular home use. I love this headlamp!!!
