The signature on this pin is FM.Co., used by Finberg Mfg Co, established in 1888 in Attleboro, Ma. This beautiful bar pin has green and rose gold accents on a yellow gold filled background. The pin is is quite elegant with detailed etching on each end, along the inside edges and in the center surrounding the cameo creating a beaded look. A very fine and masterfully carved Victorian antique cameo of a woman, possibly Demeter or Athena good dimension and use of highlights in the flowers. Quite large at 2" tall its a piece with depth and quality. Circa 1890 and in a fine 10K gold frame. Condition is very good with no damage. Excellent and heavy gold frame.
