CUSTOMER FEEDBACK from Gail (10/08/09): The sales representative at the Birmingham, MI store was very helpful. My son was trying to find a backpack for school that would hold the 25 lbs of books he's currently carrying all day around school. The salesperson showed us a North Face backpack, and put some weights in the backpack to make sure that it had the capacity and to allow my son to try it on and see how it felt. Kit is fine, though a little tricky to install the cover. Cover comes w/o-ring installed. Just annoying that you have to pay $15 (cover+batt+o-ring+shipping)wh en all you need is a new o-ring. Two years ago Suunto sent me a cover+o-ring for free. Hmmm. Comments:You'd be suprised how many people tear apart their cover when taking it off, or get sand in it and it causes a leak for condensation to get inside. Granted, you may not need the cover absolutely every time, but better to be safe than sorry...
