Having never owned or played the G-1275's Gibson cousin, I cannot state "better/equal/worse" and compare the two. I can only state my opinion of the G-1275 itself. Mine is MIK, 7/2006 I'm going to break this down into three parts; Overall, 12 string, and 6 string. Overall; This is a very nice guitar. Heavy? YES. But, unless you have a doubleneck made from balsa wood and paper mache, it's GOING to be HEAVY. 'Nuff said. Fit and finish are very good. The tuners (all 18 of them) stay in tune...
