I thought the locket was very pretty, simple, classic. It was for an older woman so I knew it would be perfect. The chain was fantastic, sturdy with a nice lobster claw. The only negative I may give is that after opening a few times, it didn't close as tight and I tried a couple of places to have it engraved myself and got turned away saying it was a little too thin; they may dent it. I did however find a place that did a beautiful job on the engraving. So, she loved it; it was worth the money.
