Produced by Magnasco, the oldest dairy company in Argentina, this Edam cheese is made in virtually the same manner as the Dutch original - including the red paraffin wax coating Edam cheese is known for. In June 2008 we travelled to Europe and spent a couple of weeks in Holland. We rented a car and explored the country backroads form north to south and east to west. Of course windmills are everywhere in the Netherlands. This lovely scene was in the town of Edam.
