This Dovo straight razor is quite stiking with plumwood scales (handle) and etched blade. Forged, formed, ground, honed and finished all by hand in the famous Solingen, Germany by DOVO. The genuine plumwood scales are finished in a waterproof satin finish and each one shows off varios patterns of this tight grained dense and very hard wood that is also used in fine musical instruments, inlays and knife handles.

The blade is forged from High Carbon Steel and features both top and bottom jimps. In addition, the blade has a nice etch that reads "Solingen, Best Quality". All in all, this is a lot of razor for the money.
