A full-bodied Rhône red from one of the best producers in Rasteau. A better value than Gigondas or Chateauneuf, Robert Parker called it "a real sleeper of the vintage and a superb value."

Deep ruby red color. Aromas of berries, plums, anise, chocolate and cocoa explode on the nose. Full-bodied supple, and round with excellent fruit extracts (plums) and smooth tannins. A densely-layered, chewy and complex wine with a long finish. Best with big dishes like game, stews, casseroles, roasts, and strong cheeses. Great now but can be cellared 5 to 6 more years.
