featured the musical stylings of Korean music group Clazziquai which is made up of DJ Clazzi, Alex Chu, and Horan Choi. Whereas the Clazziquai Edition was designed for amateurs and average players, the Black Square Edition is targeted at "professionals" capable of tackling cues by smashing out inputs like a rhythm maniac. To this end, an 8-button mode is featured in the aptly named Professional Mode which Pentavision describes as "Crazy mix by using 8 buttons." In the OPTION menu, players may customize...

I really enjoyed this item! the only reason it gets a 4 is for a lack of detailed product information. Which, to the best of my knowledge, is not PlayAsia's fault as there are no "care instructions" on the shirt itself or inside any of the packaging. The shirt displayed above is not pre-shrunk. So if you dry it in a commercial dryer after the initial wash, it will shrink. The shirt lost about an inch or more all around. One must also take into account that this item hails from Korea. For example...

In the intro to the game, a blonde girl is standing inside a train and bopping to the music in her portable MP3 player, oblivious to the world. The train steams into a station and the doors open - blonde girl blossoms out the doors with a waft of wind. While at school, she daydreams and the intro shows other attractive music lovers leaving the train, in nondescript rooms, and other locales. Everyone appears to be headed to a jam session but it's only a fantasy. At the imaginary jam session, the blonde...

Video Games. The "DJ Max Portable" series of music rhythm games spins its way to North America for the first time, bringing with it all the frenetic action and uptempo music that made it popular in Korea. Similar in construction to the PS2 game beatmania, DJ Max Fever: Emotional Sense employs the "falling notes" method of rhythm gameplay, requiring users to press specific buttons when notes hit the designated area. The game includes more than 50 songs, and as players progress they can unlock dozens of music videos, soundtracks, and images. Five difficulty levels and multiple button configurations let gamers challenge themselves, but those looking for human competition can also take on friends in wireless network battles. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

For new inductees into the DJ Max fold, the game is basically Beatmania with the option of playing the game in 4-button, 5-button, or 6-button configuration. If you're really good, you'll eventually unlock the Professional Mode which adds the use of the L and R trigger buttons for an 8-button experience. One niggle that we might throw out there is the lack of recognizable and licensed songs. It's pretty much a guarantee that most Western audience members have never heard any of the songs on the DJMP...
