The ET2818 & EST2818 have 3” brick walls with a full-sized 28” diameter interior. Both are 18” deep for a 6.6 Cu. Ft. chamber that is extremely easy to load. The Counterweight is highly recommended to offset the weight of the lid. Fully programmable with all the other great features Cress is known for. They are difficult to ship without breaking, and should be truck shipped which costs a lot relative to the cost of the shelves. Standard Controller - This kiln is equipped with an infinite control switch, high temperature pyrometer to aid in the firing process. The pyrometer consists of a heat-sensing device (thermocouple) connected to meter readout. This Pyrometer is especially important when working with glass to measure the progress of a firing and temperature of the kiln.
